Leon Norell follows on from his father’s rug business, established in 1925, trading from the famous Port of London Authority bonded warehouses, off Bishopsgate, in the city and from which he supplied , Harrods, Liberty, John Lewis, Selfridges and other well known West End department stores of the time.

Today, at an enormous warehouse in NW London, you will find the largest and most comprehensive collection of beautiful handmade Persian and other handmade Oriental rugs, runners and carpets in the UK. They come from Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Russia, Nepal, Morrocco and China, with the promise of no child labour in their production.
